Lessons for young kittens

Some teachings for fellow felines * if in doubt...whap * if in need of a treat...make sure you look all innocent and sweet * it's okay to jump over sleeping humans in a serious game of thundering herd * a stealthy mancat is a successful mancat *

NOMS Day

We iz very happy to celebrate the first anniversary of the NOMS Day ~ started last year by our friends at the Cat Realm!! We have many NOMS furriends but we'd like to  highlight some speshul furriends today ~ these are the Asiatic Black Bears...

For many years in the past these beautiful animals were kept by gypsies and private owners and used in horrible public fights with dogs...fortunately in recent times most of the bears have been rescued and are now being kept in sanctuaries and zoos where they are well taken care of. WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) is doing some wonderful work in this regard, and we'd like to thank them for rescuing our 'not of my species' friends from a lifetime of abuse and giving them a fresh chance at a life of love and caring...

...these are some photos our human snapped of them at our local zoo...aren't they simply adorable :)

Happy Noms Day Snow, Leo and Fairy!
We are very happy to have you as friends, even if you are of the same species, hohohohohoho!
We are also happy to hear that the poor bears are not tortured anymore. At least most of them....
Mrs. OZ and Tintin, and Karl from his safari of course also.

They certainly are cute, but I'd be wary of hugging one, haha! It's good that (most of them) aren't being tortured any more:) xxx

Gosh, when I think I've heard it all, there's something else horrible being done to animals. Thank goodness these darling bears have been saved and are doing well.
God Bless the people who rescued them.

We're so glad someone rescued them. Sometimes humans are terribly unkind to animals.
